You're probably right, but there's no way the NBA will let him languish in a non-marquee, media center city. If not LA, it will be New York, Chicago or maybe Boston.

I agree, and my bet is on the Knicks. It's been 30 years since the Big Apple won an NBA ring, and the natives are way past restless. I expect a full house cleaning from them as well, keeping maybe just a few players from their current roster.

The Lakers will pull it together this year just enough to get into the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed, and if they're playing well anything could happen. If I were Sacramento, I'd do my best to resist the urge to be too cocky.
