A somber day indeed. I missed the President's remarks but read the transcript. His selection of scripture was perfect!

I listened to him on the radio and got choked up when he read from Isaiah.

A somber day indeed. I missed the President's remarks but read the transcript. His selection of scripture was perfect! His actual speech was more fleshed out than the "statement". I want a transcript of the actual speech, which was one of his best. I was proud to see my president quote scripture and speak so eloquently

His selection of scripture was perfect! That's because it comes from his heart -- not a spinmeister's keyboard -- and it's very real for him.
He's a truly religious man, not a pud toting a Bible in front of the cameras as he makes his weekly "perp walk" before the cameras on the way in and out of church, like a certain former president who has a fondness for sinks.

I missed the President's remarks but read the transcript Sorry you didn't hear him as the transcript failed to include the tears he fought to control.
