Apparently, there have already been auctions opened on Ebay for supposed "shuttle debris". I saw some mention of it on Glocktalk.com and checked the auction. They had been closed and pulled off the site.

You're right. There is never a short supply of sickos. I'm sure eBay is removing them as fast as possible.

All the STS-107 stuff is being yanked by eBay as quickly as it's posted. (They're probably all jokes anyway.) But TONS of generic shuttle memorabilia have been posted today, and all those with "Buy It Now" options are being bought within minutes of posting. My guess is that most of the buyers probably plan to turn around and reauction it again for a profit.
