German secret service points to Iraqi chemical, biological arms labs

Berlin, Feb 1, IRNA -- German foreign intelligence service BND has evidence that Iraq has mobile laboratories to develop and produce biological and chemical weapons, the website of the weekly Focus reported Saturday. The laboratories are camouflaged as normal trucks, according to BND.

Some of the laboratories' components were purchased in Germany, BND chief August Hanning said in a recent meeting with the German parliament's foreign affairs committee.

Hanning also added that Iraq attempted to buy material for the construction of missiles in Germany.

Trying to pre-empt Colin Powell next week.

They admit their compliance with the devil.

Conclusion, we capitulate!!

Bush is correct. We will not get in the way!

Michael, that doesn't mean the German people support what some German companies did. Unlike the French, who worked full speed to undermine sanctions, the Germans are just indifferent to the role their companies played in building Saddam, and they're just more eager to join France to stop the US than in liberating the Iraqis. Schroeder is more anti-anti Saddam than is worthy of a person who cares about humanity. Elections have passed. He still works to save Saddam though. Weird.

I don't mean all Germans either. Many care deeply about humanity, just not enough apparently.

Wrong, elections haven´t passed. Tomorrow at 6 pm European Central Winter Time, elections in Hesse and Lower Saxony end. Although I´ve to admit that he won´t change his policy much... and that´ll lead to complete isolation of Germany, because France will send some jets just when the war is nearly won, so that they can say "we ´ave wón la guerre".

And who stands alone out in the dark? Germany! That nation which has promised itself that it will never stand on the wrong side of history again!

It sounds to me like the BND is undermining Schroeder. It's a good thing to do; I wish they'd started earlier.

A good book about this is "The Captains and the Kings".
Premise is that although governments change, big companies do not. Examples include: Siemens, Krupps, Braun, Messershmidt, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagon, etc...all produced articles for Nazi Germany yet continued business as usual after the war.

Not a great feat of intelligence work; Germany probably sold them the labs.

The BND has also informed the parliaments committee for foreign affairs, that the Iraqis possess the smallpox virus. That´s the reason why Schröder´s government bought 100 millions doses of smallpox vaccine.

Thank, you, mother Germany.

You know, you gotta love Germany... here they are supplying of all sorts of helpful chemicals for those peace loving Iraqi's... the same country whose company, Bayer**, manufactured all the poison gas that was used in the holocaust.

How cozy. Iraq and Germany... they get along so nicely... they must have a lot in common.

**(Yes, the same guys that make that nice children's aspirin you all probably have in your very own medicine cabinets. Betcha didn't know who you were supporting when you purchased it, did you?)
