I can't believe no one's commenting on the central reason Clinton's macho was so important. He had to be seen as the war leader, because he was going down the tubes otherwise. We would never have had the impeachment, because the Dems would have had to force him out of office.
So give little Tommy a break. He's acted with perfect consistency. On both occasions, he was acting to save the Democratic Party. (And the rest of us should not worry, because in both circumstances, the Democrat Party was only damaging itself.)
There is no purpose left in exposing the hypocrisy of the dems. The only thing to do is stake 'em before they crawl out of their coffins. The rest is wasted energy.
