I believe that God is talking to us - I pray that we are all listening and that those who have not listened before now will open their hearts and ears to The Lord...
I will continue to pray for all of us!

I asked my family about something I read on the other thread, and they blew me off. What do you all think: Why is the President returning from Camp David to the WH via car rather than Marine 1? Heavy fog and low cloud cover in Washington area. Not good flying weather.

That would be debris field... extends from NM to Arkansas. Gov. Huckabee confirms there is debris in his state.

More from FNC...the search for debris is headed west to New Mexico. Somebody at NASA thinks the break-up began before the shuttle entered Texas.

Thanks for keeping these threads running smoothly.

At 12,500 mph the debris field must be huge.

Someone said there were still pieces in the atomosphere and that they would be falling for hours.
Don't quote me on that.

"Shuttles shed tiles like snakes shed scales. Loss and replacement is normal, and the craft can stand the loss of a few tiles. " It is true that tiles routinely have to be replaced or repaired but there is one scenario in which tiles come off in a straight line, a zipper effect, and exposes the shuttle to catastrophic conditions on reentry. Captain Rick Hauk (USN retired and former shuttle pilot) has speculated that the angle of attack on reentry might have been amiss. This a computer controlled event.

Me. I heard it on the news. I asked about it on the other thread, but no reply.
BTW, I seriously want to know about that Shreveport radar screen... it looks ... well... different. What is it showing?

Yep. My friend and I were discussing this before FNC mentioned it. Obviously the three up there are a big concern now. Some guy on FNC speculated that the Russians could go get them for us. Also said that the other shuttle could go and get them as part of a 'rescue' mission.
