i STILL believe the shuttles are some measure of hoax on the taxpayer and the world.

I still believe we have much more capable craft than the shuttle. . . withheld so the puppet masters can exert maximum control toward globalism when they decide the time is right.

I think the space plane is also a hoax similarly.

With all our technology, why haven't we upgraded our orbital capacities as far as the public knows? We've had the money and the capacity. Some would say the will has been lacking. I think it's the permission.

OK, tinfoil hats returned on your exit.

Flame away and probably be ignored. Respond thoughtfully and get a reply.

Attitude

Nothing can stop us
Perfect landings are assured
A long as we keep
The right attitude

Don't let life's tribulations
Melt the wings that make you fly
And you'll make a perfect landing
The faithful never die

Many things can cause us trouble
As we tread this vale of tears
But we choose the way we handle
Our uncertainty and fears

Our faith must rest completely
Where our Father sits on high
As we look to Him to lead us
He will teach us how to fly

Fly, to the sun,
like an Eagle.
Fly, touch the sun.

Guess I disagree.

More ill comes from stuffing feelings of caring--even dramatic ones--than from sharing them more or less freely.

It's likely that men live few years than women IN PART due to stuffing their feelings.

Sharing feelings at such a time validates the people one is grieving for. It also validates the expressive one as being more than a robot. And it communicates to youth that feelings are important parts of being human.

If one is too choked up to talk well, pass the torch. But PLEASE, do be expressive. I love it. It's human. It's warm. It's connective. It touches hearts as little else can.

If feelings are too much for you to watch, switch channels.

... why haven't we upgraded our orbital capacities...?

Answer: Politics and economics. NASA doen't really have much clout in congress and they have to make do with
whatever money they get. But we absolutely need a new redesigned vehicle; one that go from earth to orbit and back by
itself. Maybe this tragedy will advance that effort.

As far as the rest of your statement, I don't know why a superior craft would be kept secret, and I don't see any
group as puppeteers. Of course, things like that are hard to disprove.

Yes, many times my ICN nurse wife had to stuff her feelings and get the emergency job done. But her access to her feelings, at times, also made priceless contact with parents of the premies.

Professionals usually can function regardless though some may need a bit of a time out. Usually professionals do what needs to be done in spite of their feelings.

But I sure don't want to rob them of their feelings nor of their expressing them however they need to. I trust their judgement about that.

I am going to go back and read as much of this thread as possible-I do have one question, tho-As regards that reported "Heat Spike" upon start of re-entry-IIUC-This was later accounted for or explained-
I was just curious where geographically that point was?

While I have a certain kind of respect for your grit and pluck,

Were I in need of serious hospitalization, I'd greatly appreciate being on a different ward than you worked on.

May God spare me from "cold" "professional" medical professionals. I'm NOT "the hernia" in bed 26. I'm not a nut nor a bolt [contrary to convictions of some hereabouts] and I don't appreciate being treated as such by the GREAT COLLECTION OF NUTS AND BOLTS otherwise known as the medical machines and their bean counters.

I think many of us professionals can do the job required at the time whether we choke back the tears or let them flow. And afterwards in our own space and time or with friends, we really lose it cathartically. Both are ok.

Let me say it better.

Stormin Norman S teared up very obviously at at least one press conference. I don't remember the context.

I and my co-workers on that shift carried on and never cried in public. Why? Because when you have a job to do, you just carry on...professionally

FWIW I agree with you completely.

Thanks for your kind reply.

I hope you're right.

I'm still skeptical. Control freaks like to control power every way they can--especially with technology and military power vehicles.

Besides. . . it seems to me the logical thing for satan to do given the Bible's predictions for our era.

And, it just seems to me that the money or lack of will etc. is toooooo easy . . . toooo tidy somehow. We've historically done most any durn thing we wanted to do that was remotely possible and hang the costs.

But, what do I know. I just filter masses, great masses of information. And I certainly make plenty of mistakes. But not as many as some hereon would presume.

Well, seven people have died. Nothing will bring them back, ever. I think cards, teddy bears, flowers and such should be sent to the grieving family members. Perhaps it just my thinking, but I have an aversion to persons who visit a site and leave the above mentioned articles.
