NASA needs to retire the Shuttle........God Bless

Way true .. and there's no excuse for not having a successor waiting in the wings.

Columbia was built in '79. How good was your PC back then? Even with every conceivable upgrade it would still be irrelevant today.

What I find incredible is that apparently no one can say how long the shuttles were intended to last in the first place.

I'm would believe that computer has been upgraded many numerous times since the computer upgrades I helped design were installed in Columbia
