>>>Almost every time she finished a litany of questions, Pelosi caught herself, as if aware viewers might recognize her obstruction for what it is.

Wow. Nancy Pelosi epitomizes the deer in the headlights political leadership, that is now in total control of the liberal-socialist wing of the Democratic Party.

"She had the appearance of a detached robot. . . ."

A blast of Botox every 3 months will do that to anyone. She buys the stuff by the quart. She really looks strange. One more facelift and she'll be wearing a goatee.

When the constitution was written, it was written my bem of intelligence and integrity. People running for office during that period were people of intelligence and integrity. Since then there has been a continuing transition such that what we are predominently governed by moronic hyenas. Whatever happened to quality?

"Al-Queda" today, some other demented moniker tomorow, the song remains the same.

Allowing the left to define the threat to the nation as one posed only by "Al-Queda" is a fatal mistake.

There is no difference between "Al-Queda", Saudi Arabia, Iraq,Iran, Libya, or Syria.

Untermenschen who are not sufficiently evolved to utilize their vast wealth for anything other than ridiculously extravagant palaces and weapons(of mass destruction and otherwise) need to be contained and rendered harmless.

Come to think of it, Democrats could be placed in the same category.

You need to expand on this.

I heard "This Week" on a C-Span re-broadcast and this is what I heard:

Stephanopoulos - "But why should we give the French veto power over American security decisions?"

Pelosi - "Because that is what we did when we became a member of the UN Security Council."

Evil + Stupid = Pelosi

To the "give peace a chance" crowd:

In 1991, Saddam and the US signed a PEACE AGREEMENT. In it, we agreed to stop kicking his ass, if he agreed to stop pursuing WMD's, stop keeping a large army, stop murdering Kurds, destroy his stockpiles of weapons (which were accounted for then), etc. Since he has not kept up his end of the contract, he has shown that he does not desire to be bound by any PEACE Agreement. Since he does not wish to be bound, then we are not obligated to be bound by it, either. Even so, we are an honorable nation, and we've "given PEACE a chance", unilaterally, for 12 years... and it has been an obvious failure. Iraqis are still oppressed, the entire Middle East, as well as Israelis and Americans everywhere, are not safe, and Saddam's refutation of the PEACE Agreement is why. Since "giving PEACE a chance" unilaterally does not work in Saddam's case, we are simply going back to the state of affairs that were in effect the day before the PEACE Agreement was signed. We are at war, and the ass-kicking will continue until we can be sure that PEACE is possible. Since this cannot happen via any document that Saddam signs, Iraq will have to have a different leader whose signature is honorable. Until that happens, the ass-kicking goes on.

This, of course, plainly shows that your mantra of "give the inspectors more time" means nothing. First, you refuse to specify what you want to give them more time to do. Second, it does nothing but give Saddam even more than 12 years to build a nuclear/biological/chemical WMD (a science that has been around for half a decade, and has been developed by several nations in far less time).

Perhaps Nancy could better understand the answers to her sophomoric questions if the answers began with, duh.......and the respondent was chewing bubble gum.
