If that poster is FReeper posing as a left winger to have some fun, then the entire board is compossed of FReepers since that is an avg post over there.

I've long suspected that about 10-15% of that board is composed of Freepers making startlingly outrageous comments. I once posted an article praising Mad Bob Mugabe's "land redistribution" policy. I give them credit for determining there was something wrong with it, but none of them could quite put their finger on it.

Yes, DU has been totally infiltrated by a Freeper PsyOps. Has been so for the longest time. They really are a hoot--though sometimes I feel sorry for their ignorance. They really seem to do need a Nanny Government to survive in this world. I just hope they don't breed very much....

LOL! Once, late at night and deep into an extended FReep session, several of us hatched the plan to infiltrate DU and begin a stealth campaign to completely discredit them!

We put forth a great deal of effort in practising the types of farfarfarleftwing lunatic rants and idiotic opinions that we would offer, and speculated as to how they would be perceived and the kinds of responses such posts would receive.

Stuff like: "I've always been a sort of non-political liberal, so I'm new to the DU family, but I just can't sit on the sidelines any longer. I'm so tired of this racist imperial nation and I really think the world would be better off if we actually did get hit by a bioweapon. Maybe THEN the rest of the civilized world could get our attention."

I never actually did it myself, but from what I've heard, it's certainly not beyond belief that some from around here have done just that.
