"We are not afraid of any of your terrorist co-conspirators, Mr. Reid," the judge said. "We are Americans. We have been through the fire before.
"You are not an enemy combatant — you are a terrorist. You are not a soldier in any war — you are a terrorist. To call you a soldier gives you far too much stature. You are a terrorist and we do not negotiate with terrorists. "We hunt them down one by one and bring them to justice." ===========================================================

I get the feeling this Judge would have ended the above statement with a word rhyming with otherducker, if decorum would have allowed it. Forceful rebuke to Reid the puke.
I'm sure he would not be a Clinton appointee.
Judge Young, a Reagan appointee, taught my trial advocacy class in law school. He's a great guy. I will never forget his advice on the last day of class. He told us that lawyers tend to live their lives as an isolated class of like-minded people, out of touch with the realities of the lives of ordinary Americans. He admonished us to live well-rounded lives instead, associating ourselves with all types of ordinary people.
I remember getting chewed out by Judge Young for making an unprofessional statement during a mock trial in my class. As you might guess, it was not a pleasant experience. Of course, he was back to his usual self after the mock exercise was over.
