Is this an imposter of Dennis Miller? Not the same one I used to know. I'm thinking that its more a function of the fact that its becoming "cool" to be conservative...he's catering to the audience that will most likely pay attention to him. He's not fooling me either.

Miller has always been fairly upfront about the fact that his personal politics are right of center--probably libertarian. But it's his job as a comedian to skewer both sides for fuzzy thinking and hypocrisy.

Although I understand your skepticism, I have always been able to listen to Dennis Miller because his perspective has always contained some measurable amount of common sense. Yes, I've disagreed with many of his positions; but he always presents his viewpoint with enough factual information to warrant consideration.
Compared to the blatant blatherings of baseless bile from 99.999% of the liberal media/entertainers, DM's objectivism, although miniscule at times, has reassured me that some are not completely blinded to the truth.
