Scott was asked that question by a woman reporter, he said it was irrevelant and that wasn't any kind of question to ask.
He was in total control of the interviews he held in his home. The interviews in his home were very different than the one with Diane sawyer. He was very careful what he said, did not add more information than required and kept his eyes open with hardly a blink.
He keeps the door to the nursery closed. He cannot bear to look in there. I believe he may have done the deed in the babys room.

If he changed his behavior between the interview with Diane Sawyer and the ones done in his home maybe he's reading FR's observations on lying eyes, etc and correcting as interviews proceed.
