John Walsh...Mom is saying that Scott called her at 5:20 pm Dec 24th and said, mom is laci there and she said no. He said, well her car is here and Mckenzie (dog) was in the back yard with his leash on. When he said the dog still had it's leash on the mother became alarmed. Scott called back and said the neighbors have not seen her either. The mother told her husband to call the police she was going to the park to look.
Scott had told her he went fishing and Laci was going to stay home to bake.

In reality he could have carried her body about 10-15 feet, dropped it over a low fence checked for oncoming cars and then hopped the fence and drug the body under some nearby bushes. This is not you average 3-4 lane Hwy. It is two lanes only.
