Your grandkids sound great. The sense of humor must be genetic. The grandparent-grandchild relationship is a special one. I was very lucky to have wonderful grandparents who were/are blessed with long lives so I've gotten to spend time with them throughout my life. Enjoy them! You're very lucky.

Being a grandparent is indeed special. We love our wonderful sons, but we have to admit when we held those grandbabies the first time. Something wonderful happened.
I had wonderful Grandparents. They loved all of their large number of grandkids, and they made each one of us feel special.
The sense of humor is probably genetic. Our kids got it from both sides, and our grandkids did too.
