Billie, once a month I engage in product auctions that originate in Taipei and Malaysia ... and I sell them to customers here and in Amsterdam and London. It's a B2B thing, it's fun, but I have to stay awake for 30 hours or so to get stuff from A to B. It's a weird deal, but FR is my night lite.
I've got a vendor from Kuala Lumpur "What's wrong Tom Man, you sleep? Or real cheap? Buy now, I'm hungry my wife has dinner." LOL Great stuff.

"Hope you two learned something from your 'time-out' last night. :) Wish I had caught your pings before lights out on the east coast." LOL - We certainly were having a good time, on a roll, scrambling to find graphics to illustrate our barbs and observations.
No warning for your surprise gif!!
I sat there laughing for at least ten minutes, Dave..:))
Wish you'd stayed for the follow-up, too.
Nan and I and jwfiv were in high gear, and havin' harmless fun.
Sometimes when it is quiet in there, Nan and I are kinda sides of the same coin, 'sisters,' and all; and we drew poor unsuspecting jw into the 'fray.'
More than held his own, he did! LOL
It can - as you witnessed - become a combination of Romper Room and Outer Limits.

Please send me the new montage with Senator Herman Munster in it when it is ready.
I have a few very wicked ideas.
BTW, he will not run for President.
I have been watching him for years.
His only chance in 2004 is if the War goes bad for us.
2008 has been conceded to be the prize for the Hillary Beast.
Herman Munster would never give up his Senate seat.
He cannot run (unless the Law is changed.) in Massachusetts for both Offices in 2008. (That is why he looked so pissed off.)
He will fold his hand way before he can be allowed to look like a Loser.
I would so kick his butt in a game of Poker!

What is the rumor and innuendo behind the media assumption that John Kerry is handsome? Chris Matthews and Howard Fineman talked about that last night. I'm no expert, but .... I don't see it.
If he had a goatee, he'd be the slacker on "Scooby Doo". His face needs an adjustment on the vertical control knob.

Hey, Hannity feels he gets unfairly busted here, so I want to offer him an ice-breaking opening for his next John Kerry interview:
"Senator Kerry, thank you for being here. Why the long face?"

Seeing both of you each day does a soul good!

Kasparov loses against the machine today, in the ongoing man v. machine chess battle! The score is now 1.5 to 1.5. The previous, second game was a draw -- but an exciting one! -- where at move 22 Kasparov sacrificed a rook for a bishop and nearly came away with the win.
Just thought you should know, chess fans!! {{{Louie}}}

Does the machine "learn" as it goes along? Those types of programs are darned hard to beat.

The computer is the world champion for microchips. So it's strategy is set and programmed. It's programmers have learned from the past -- indeed they have lots of "book" programmed into it -- but it's not artifically intelligent in terms of learning as the tournament goes on.

I'm back sistah. Was beginning to get worried. Hubby's computer is down with a nasty virus which has basically destroyed his computer. Son came over to operate on it. For awhile there my puter went down too. Thankfully he got mine back up, even though it is networked from hubby's. Thing is, hubby got a new computer recently and son had not gotten around to installing a firewall on it. That will teach him to procrastinate. Now he has to wipe the thing clean and reinstall everything. I have Norton which protected my machine. Anyway, I'm baaaaak....

Romper Room and The Outer LImitsPlenty of elbow room and fleeting minutes
Waving to each other as we skate
through cyberspace while the hours are late.
So sorry, can't resist just one more little verse.
Wishing all you Freepers a fine day behind you, and sweet dreams ahead.
God blesses America.
All al-gueda types must die.
Let's roll.

Your reply #169 is a real hoot...great stuff and very clear...I agree all the way through.
I gotta tell ya, I have many favorite and very derisive terms for Sen. Pig Kennedy, but your 'Vehicular Homicide Boy' immediately jumps to the top of the list...cracks me up...now, my second fave is "Captain of the S.S. Oldsmobile".
Cheers to you, ArneFufkin...and, thanks for cheering me up.
