The French and Germans have long since thought they were a higher class than everybody and everybody should just bow and scrape to their every whim. Sorry......... bzzzzzzzzzzt ..... they're losing this "war" - both countries are being exposed as being Arab supporters - France being a key player in helping provide scientific equipment for producing biological WMD and Germany has long since been a Palestinian (i.e. Arab) supporter.

A spokesman for British Prime Minister Tony Blair said that France and Germany weren't asked to sign the op-ed piece. The spokesman declined to comment on why, but the French and German positions clearly are too far apart from the others to be included.

The other countries didn't even bother asking!

Just look at all the political parties these guys belong to: Social Democratic, Socialist, Labour, Left, Liberal etc. These aren't the right wing madmen the lefties called Reagan and Pinochet. They are their own comrades who might have similar domestic ideas, but totally disagree with the appeasement at any cost crowd.
