January 29, 2003 -- APART from President's Bush's bulldog determination to look America's enemies right in the eye, the most important aspect of his State of the Union message was the emergence of a unified national strategy. This is an administration that is putting all of the national security pieces together at last.

QUITE an article. Interesting take on the SOTU. All in all, President Bush did not disappoint. I think he did us proud.

"The course of this nation does not depend on the decisions of others."
No sovereignty; no liberty.
The liberals know this. They would gladly consign us to the tender mercies of "the international community."
The President is at one with the founding fathers. They jealously gaurded our sovereignty. So does he.

"As a former soldier, as a student of strategy and as a proud American, it did my heart good to hear a State of the Union message in which our president spoke at length about reaching out to Africa, while not using the word "Europe" a single time. "Yes, this is a sterling comment. I feel like that woman in the shampoo commercial: YES, YES, OH YES...LOL!!!

I agree with his take on the African Aids initiative. Bush is going to be rounding up a bunch of new allies for the war on terror.

And his call for more funding for hydrogen fuel research is an important step toward helping the Saudis get back to their roots as goatherds and tribal bandits. LOL! Back to their roots. Love it.
I have no idea if hydrogen fuel technology is feasible but the thought of telling the Saudis to go eat their oil does my heart good.

The Eurolosers on the left will shut up once they see Iraqi people celebrate like the Afghans did when we freed them.
