If Don Evans had not interfered with the life of George W. Bush, we would not have a President! Think about it!!

Agreed, but you're missing the key point: Don Evans didn't receive money from the U.S. taxpayer to help Dubya. I'm all for helping junkies beat their destructive habits, but through private charities (or personal intervention), not government funding. I want our Gov't to do its Constitutionally designed functions, and playing mommy and daddy isn't one of them.

Excuse me ... I'm not missing the point. Don Evans got his funding somewhere to support his organization. There are a lot of state-run organizations for drug treatment. Bush wants to take it out govt organization, and allow faith-based organizations to get the money INSTEAD!!
