Fred Barnes said that Bush could not possibly equal his previous speechs( post 9/11,UN). I think he has surpassed all of them. I have never enjoyed a SOU as much!!

He delivers them pretty well too, if you can get past the few toungue trips. His cadence, pacing, and emphasis all play well. But he is going to look really good in the future when his speeches are read. His speechwriters are top notch.
