No...I just couldn't watch it on the TV in the room where the computer is. And I've been depressed lately as it is anyway and generally feeling other emotions that Good Conservatives shouldn't complain about, and I could have used the fun, that's all.

I watching C-Span

And a caller just called in and made a comment that Locke's State of Washington either is passing or is about to pass a resolution to NOT support the war on Iraq

He said there is info on his website about it

This caller was pretty upset the Dems would pick Locke

I'm beginng to believe we need to take the 12 Step DNC program. I'm about ready to give them up. When does Lent start?

LOL .. I love the caption under these idiots

Should read: "Miracle of recovery is extremely unlikely. Voluntary euthanasia is recommended."

I was sticking my head in the oven earlier this week, but now it's in the twenties here, so I stopped (because it was cold, not because we have a new dem governor). (And my oven is electric, not gas.) I kind of like the humidity--better for the skin.

Hyperactive: when I'm small
Hyperactive: now I'm grown
Hyperactive: and the night is young
And in a minute I'll blow

Semaphore out on the floor
Messages from outer space
Deep heat for the feet
And the rhythm of your heartbeat
'Cause the music of the street
It isn't any rapattack
It isn't any rapattack

I can reach into your homes
Like an itch in your headphones
You can't turn it up
I'm the shape in your back room
I'm the breather on the phone
And I'm burning up
But there's one thing I must say
Before they lock me up again -
You'd be safer at the back
When I'm having an attack!

Hyperactive: when I'm small
Hyperactive: now I'm tall
Hyperactive: as the day is long
Hyperactive: in my bones
Hyperactive: in your phones
Hyperactive: and the night is young
Hyperactive : when I'm small
Hyperactive: now I'm grown
Hyperactive: 'til I'm dead and gone

I would caption that one, but, ahem, I am a lady.

Then please allow me.

"John McCain is getting ready to change sides..."

(I can't help it. I grew up with seven brothers.)

Correct me if I am mistaken but did not the known left in congress all sit on the same side ?

When they are in their respective chambers, yes. But because this was a joint session, the seating arrangements are a little peculiar. Birds of a feather pretty much are together, but not in one big flock.

Interesting that Bush is hardly being graded on a curve; he gets more A's and F's than anything else, and fewest C's.

Most of the "F" votes were probably posted before the speech even started.

Excuse me ... I'm not missing the point. Don Evans got his funding somewhere to support his organization. There are a lot of state-run organizations for drug treatment. Bush wants to take it out govt organization, and allow faith-based organizations to get the money INSTEAD!!
