I was in (eighth grade) algebra class at the time - I can't for the life of me remember what we were doing, but I remember clearly one of the other teachers sticking her head in the door and telling us what had happened. By the time I got to lunch, they had a TV set up in the cafeteria - it was probably the quietest lunch I can remember...
