~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Uncertain days lie ahead of us, and more than ever, the leaders of our country need the prayers of our nation for guidance in the decisions they will be making that will effect each and every one of us including our children and grandchildren.
Tonight President George W. Bush will stand before the assembled leaders of the United States Congress in Washington, D.C., and deliver the annual State of the Union address.
We pray for all our nations leaders, and for our military personnel, their families and friends. May God hold them close to His heart.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Almighty God, we commend to your gracious care and keeping all the men and women of our armed forces at home and abroad. Defend them day by day with your heavenly grace; strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Billie, I've already told you how much I love the graphics work you did for Taxman. But that pledge of allegiance is really beautiful. Thanks for all the work you do.

Good Morning, hope everyone is doing well. Congratulations Taxman, enjoy your day in the spotlight. I had the pleasure of meeting you at the Freeper Ball. I am looking forward to President Bush's State of the Union address this evening. My bumper sticker on my car says: I stand with President Bush. I work at a very liberal University and proudly display my view each day :-) Have a great day everyone!!

Congratulations, Taxman. That 'war' necklace is a classic. It must really get under the leftist's skins. LOL!

To all our Hostesses...Good Morning..)...beautiful thread for such a rugged fella, quite appropriate, I think.
FTH, just love yer style.
Taxman, pleased to know you a little better...always pay attention when I see your name on a thread...thanks for all your Freepin' good works.
It has taken a few years, being the obtuse type, but I've finally grokked the rationale behing the sales tax and come around to thinking it is indeed the best alternative to our currently absurd system,I don't see how anyone can argue with it.
I'm sure you'll have a wonderful day here at the head of the table...good luck to you, Taxman.

Congrats on being one of FR's finest - of course those of us having the pleasure of knowing you already knew that:)
Also, thanks for everything you've done and continue to do.
An additional argument for the national sales tax that you pointed out to me is privacy. What business is it of the government (or it's hacks) how much money we make? With a national sales tax the snooping into our personal lives would end. IMHO that is the most compelling argument of all.
Anyway - see you at CPAC Thursday.

Good morning, FRiends!
Billie and FTH, another excellent tribute to a man very deserving of this honor.
Taxman, thank you for your dedication to this cause. I agree with you 100%......the difference is, you are actually dedicating your life to doing something about it. Your efforts are very much appreciated and I am so pleased to see you in the spotlight today.
Billie, I love the pledge and prayer today. :-)
Have a great day everyone!

Frank,
You are a fine Freeper, indeed!
Congrats, dude, on the well-deserved honor!
(Unfortunately, they apparently got some photos mixed up at Freeper GHQ. I didn't even know Ernest Hemmingway's grandson WAS a Freeper!)

Congratulations on being featured as today's Finest!!
It is a pleasure getting to know you!

A great thread for an American hero. Kudos to both you gals for a stimulating report. I like the wealthy background. Taxman, were we living in Richmond at the same time? 89-92. I surely do wish we could have that NRST, but I'm not holding my breath. God bless you for your part in the battle.
