I see. So in your view any 12 year old that does something illegal should be shot and killed in case he or she may in the future commit another crime? Brilliant.

This is not the first episode for the poorly trained Pennsylvania State Police. We had a 13 year old run through a car dealership parking lot (unarmed ) with a PA State Police Cowboy shooting at him. He refused to stop his vehicle. No crime reported, he just was a fleeing jerky kid. Danger? From someone running away and no bank robbery or crime committed? We also have these cops chasing cars full of teens over narrow roads until they crash and die. Where is the sense in that? Some more training is needed. Rumors of drug use by that trooper were circulating. The blood samples were lost.........we will never know

Maybe I have an attitude because I know a guy that was hit head on by a Pa State Trooper while the trooper was in uniform, in his private vehicle going 87 mph on a 4 lane highway. He went over the highway divider and creamed this person head on. The trooper died and they lost the blood samples taken. He was a early 20s Hispanic male not on the force very long. They covered their ass big time. They take care of their own. They left the man hit slumped in the roadway losing blood while they rushed the dead guy to the hospital.............The emphasis was on saving the trooper and not the severely injured citizen. The Pa State Police had the balls to go to the ER to ask the man the trooper almost killed if he had been drinking.........

I think what happened is unfortunate but it's hard for me to drum up any anger over this. If your going to engage in activites such as stealing a car and running from the cops, there is a small chance there is going to be some misunderstanding that leads to some sort of shooting. It's common sense. To me it's kinda like sticking a fork into a light socket; your most likely going to just get a good jolt but there is a small chance, under the right conditions, those amps are going to go to your heart and kill you.
