Predator hit in Yemen killed an al-Qaeda commander and his entourage of five, though the strike was controversial: one of the dead men turned out to be a U.S. citizen.

This what I love about the media < /sarcasm>:

Was this really controversial? Was it? Or is the "contraversy" a figment of the PC demented mind of the jackass who wrote this article?

These adventures had checkered results. The governments that the CIA destabilized in... Chile w[as] replaced by [a] repressive regime... that ended up doing more damage in the long run to U.S. foreign policy.

Another flat-out lie from the Henry Luce Corps. The Pinochet regime in Chile that overthrew the Fidelist nutjob Salvador Allende did so at the urging of the Chiliean legislature. Pinochet was not particularly repressive, and his regime left Chile better than it found it. Thanks to Gen. Pinochet's coup, Chile was saved from becoming Cuba West, and its current success is in no small measure the result of the actions taken by General PInochet to save his nation from a murderous pirate.

I have a question for TIME:

If this group is so SECRET ... how did you find out about it ...??

And ... if this group is so secret ... what gives you the right to expose it ..??

Is that all the CIA did in Kosovo and Bosnia? Lets not delve to deeply into Clinton's covert-ops in support of Muslims who just on a coinky-dinky were also allied with al-Qaeda.
