Dear Polycarp,

Sorry I missed you at the march. The Mass that used to be at DAR Constitution Hall was combined with others into a Mass at the DC Convention Center. Our group chose to eat an early lunch in the Convention Center before braving the cold. I didn't arrive at the Mall until around 12:30, and never got close to the flaming sword monument.

I was disappointed to have missed you again, this year. But I wasn't disappointed at the crowd.

It seems to get younger to me each year.

Unfortunately, my plans hit a scheduling snag, and this was the first time in many years I was unable to attend the March. Bummer.
