I think that there is a good possibility that Scott is responsible for his wife's disappearance. I think that some of the reasons for targeting him are silly. Sure, no "decent" man would go fishing on Christmas Eve. No "decent" married man would have a girlfriend or more on the side. These combine to make him out to be a bad guy but lot of men do these things and haven't killed their wives, yet.

Well, I agree with this: that a good many decent men have gone fishing on Christmas Eve, or even while their wives were very pregnant. But I don't think any man who cheats on his wife is decent. (Same rule for the wives.) Those people may be common--but not decent!
