There is nothing amiss with reviewing the records to see if any Federal statutes were violated. That's their job, after all. Corruption in the local prosecutor's office could constitute such an occasion for scrutiny.

Corruption in the local prosecutor's office could constitute such an occasion for scrutiny. Not only that but Ritter was a UN Inspector for Iraq. What if there is more to the story of a UN inpector being blackmail/bribed/paid off by the Iraqis is true??
That would explain why the FBI got involved with this getting this case un-sealded
