In a nutshell, Clinton's Corruption is INDEFENSIBLE on every level...the only way he's made it this far is 'cuz folks seem scair't to bring up the issue. However, Slick Willie's TREASON is the 800-pound gorilla in the middle of American politics and that gorilla ain't going away until Americans muster the gumption to PUT SLICK AWAY, once and for all!! Once the issue is put on the forefront--the Summer of '03 is most likely, IMHO--every House member will have to decide if they believe POTUS's are AboveTheLaw and will be forced to make a stand with a historic "YEA" or NAY" vote regarding RE-Impeachment. Then, with GOP control of the Senate, a REAL Senate Impeachment Trial will be conducted in front of the American Sheeple and ALL the evidence of Abuse of Power, Campaign Finance Felonies, Mass-Murder at Waco and Kosovo, everything but the kitchen sink will be played out infront of the world!! Then, the Senators will have to make the biggest vote of their political careers and those who vote to allow Clinton to remain unpunished after breaking literally hundreds of laws will be forever stained as SupportorsOfCorruption and hounded out of pyublic life forever!!

Then, the Judiciary proceedings will occur in a Virginia court and we will go after Slick Willie with everything we can muster!! If that is not successful, we've got 50 State courts to go through until we find the one able to put Bill Clinton in Prison for the rest of his days on this planet!!

Ok, I can see Virgina going after him. But, are you saying that the SENATE would have to retry him. This is the same Senate that with Chester Lott in control .......well, you know..

Aren't there other avenues he could be brought to justice besides reimpeachment? I mean the whole idea is to get him on trial. I can't see Ashcroft investigating him, do you?

OK, maybe I am being a little thick-headed here.

I don't have any legal expertise at all, so here's what I think I understand: any crimes committed by a President no longer in office would have to be first brought up on Federal charges, and then the House re-impeaching, and then the Senate would have to retry again? That's the only way?

The problem as I see it, is that the Senate would be embarrassed by their failure to fullfill their duties the first time around. These guys don't like to admit their mistakes, much less embarrass themselves.

I'm wondering if there aren't things that klintoon could be rung up on since his leaving office. I'll bet he's got a Swiss bank account, from his dealings with Marc Rich, and his drug dealing buddies.

Since banking and hiding drug money, etc, would be on-going criminal activity, sick willie could be brought up on these these charges just like an ordinary citizen, no?
