I actually believe the Gipper's battle with Alzheimer's was God's last big assignment before he calls him home. Before it struck President Reagan, I was one of those dolts who thought forgetfulness was a natural side-effect of getting old and really hadn't heard much about the disease at all. After Dutch got it, I looked into it more, I donated money for research, and I think we are moving closer to a cure. I'm sure other educational efforts got out the word to folks, too, but I wonder how many Americans--due to Reagan's coming down with the disease--have a greater awareness of--and empathy fer--sufferers of this horrific disease that steals yer memories?! I really miss Reagan, though...I was soooo PROUD to call him my Leader.

Yeah, me too. What a sad way to go. It's got to take a lot of courage to face the fact that you are going to lose every memory that you cherished, and the memory of those around you, including your own family.
Now Charleton Heston, too. They were good friends, weren't they? (Reagan) I heard about Clooney making that really rude comment about 'ol Chuck. It's not worth repeating, but suffice it to say, someone should kick Clooney's a$$. What a worthless piece of trash.
I have vowed to never rent another Clooney movie, ever. But liberals have been saying things like that about Reagan too. Classless cads...
