I know. I think Thomas Jefferson must be whirling in his grave. I think something truly bizarre has happened in the universe. We have a less-than-stellar (I'm trying to be nice here) liberal, democrat governor; Charlottesville has just passed this idiotic resolution; and, Kofi Annan is speaking at William and Mary on Saturday and there will be an anti-war protest there on Saturday also. But the state of Maryland has elected a republican governor (who beat a Kennedy, no less) and they are re-implementing the death penalty. I may have to move back to Maryland....
