I am beyond tears. I have wept myself dry over this country and those who would sell us down the river.
I just turned 63 today. I have given this country 20 years of good and faithful service in the military. But to what avail?
Franklin said "We have given you a republic if you can keep it."
It's your turn, Young America. Restore the republic.

These moronic peach-nix don't even understand what their doing. If it were not for those brave Vet's who made sure that their rights were protected, then these same peace-nix could possibility be shot for the same things they take for granted.
I am also 63 years old, was never able to become a Vet. To this day I still can't make myself go to Washington and visit the WALL.
Even the thought of all those name inscriped there brings tear to my eyes. I will never ever forget how these brave souls were betrayed, cursed and spit upon on their return to America.
My prayers are with you all and I say proudly:
GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Its disgusting the way the Anti-War/Anti-American movement is acting. At least they should come clean on their political leanings (pro-commie, anti-US)
The one thing I did notice from last week: There werent too many DNC politicians at the rallies. A sure-fire loser at election time
Do these anti-American idiots realize that the US was attacked on 9/11?
Let me catch one of these bozos spitting on our war vets (grrr)....
To: mfulstone
There are more of us, who are deeply grateful for the service you have rendered to keep this country safe and free, than there are of those leeches and parasites who have enjoyed their freedom to demonize you. I know it is painful, but don't lose heart, America will prevail!

I'm 15 years behind you. I truly believe our military will be as strong when I reach your age as it is today. I hope the liberal-socialist ethos of public demonstration that we see today will be gone by then...but I'm not holding my breath.
We will stay the course, and do our ever-lovin' best to keep them from having the last word.

"His pain, re-awakened and raw, at the betrayal of our troops during the Vietnam war, at the current betrayal of our nation by our press; by anti-Americans rating space in our press while wiser voices are silenced; by politicians putting their personal ambitions before the welfare of our nation, uniting and strengthening our enemies and weakening and dividing America - once again."

Thank you for your service!
We can take our country back, but it will not be easy.
I am almost 62 -- I gave my country 28 1/2 years of Active and Reserve Naval Service. I took my first enlistment oath in March, 1963. I have never quit serving and I will not quit now!
I am reminded of the oft repeated saying: "When the going gets tough, the tought get going." It may be trite, but sureasHell, we need to get going!
Now, more than ever.
