Did I miss something somewhere? Everything I have read said Scott was a Sales Rep. for this fertilizer company. Not an owner.

This is correct. Though he may have had to invest $$$ to become the Modesto rep. Weeks ago I looked up this Spanish fertilizer company Tradecorp. With a crude and semi functional website.http://www.ediho.es/tradecorp/pr_in.html Seems like an "organic" fertilizer company. Can you make a living selling this stuff? He paid $25,000 to join a country club to enhance his career in sales?

At his home, Peterson met with his boss, Eric Van Innis executive director of Tradecorp. Peterson is a salesman for the specialty fertilizer company.

Innis is visiting from Portugal and told reporters that he and the company support Peterson "100 percent."

"He has the spirit of a guy who is going through a difficult situation," Innis said. "He's doing his best."

"Scott says he left home at 9:30 am and went to his office to do a few hours of work. He kept a 14-foot aluminum boat stored at his office and after working decided to hook it up and take a short fishing trip in the San Francisco Bay."

Okay, I am getting confused with info... SP lied... He didn't go to Berkeley, and if he did, HE wasted a $5.00 parking ticket to park. The times are not adding up for him to be in his work office for a few hours past 0930 hours, to Berkeley, back home to call police by 548 pm... He was here, if MPD reporting this current info is correct! Not on Christmas Eve or Day... He couldn't get enough drive time to make those hours...and the boat never touched the waters then.. Who gave him the parking ticket and gas reciept then? Or did he do a joy ride, get the reciepts and went back home... Doesn't add up... Or more mixed info.... :o)

One thing I do know is that a report from today said there is a bad neighborhood near a park..indicating that it wasn't too far from their home.

I think he was a fertilizer salesperon..and a former restaurant owner.

His lawyer will never allow him to confess. If he keeps his mouth shut he may still beat the rap. I hope not, but if the evidence is weak or innuendo, he may.

My guess is that they will announce that they have Scott in custody and that he is cooperating with them. Later tonight it will be annouced that he has confessed and will tell them the location of the body. IMHO

I haven't gone thru the posts... Tom Sullivan played a stream from a radio station in Fresno today of the GF's co worker.. Some radio show interviewed the co worker of this girl friend....It was several mins long. I missed most of it. I asked them if they can link it. She was saying something of breaking news.. Coworker believes SP is dirty... Did you get the Jan 16th, SP confessed to the older brother of Laci's?

Unless his parents convince him to confess and disclose what he did with the body, he won't. His lawyer will prevent any interrogation of his client or confession. This will go to trial one way or another, but if he's smart he'll listen to his lawyer. If he has a heart he'll listen to his parents (God, I hope they're trying to get him to confess!!)and tell what he did with her. But don't count on it!

The Peterson's family was suppose to come out with a statement after the press conference but they never did. I suspect Scott has been arrested. I could be wrong though.
