It was the saddest thing you can imagine.I almost couldn't watch. Perhap's they have evidence of possible murder but I think they reall want to bring Laci and the baby home . They need closure.

Isn't it funny....when someone who wants a child will refer to their unborn child as a baby.....where as those who don't call it a fetus.

The Michael Savage radio program is just beginning and he wants to know why the Laci Peterson case is all there is in the news. He said with us just about to go to war all we hear is Laci Peterson, Laci Peterson, Laci Peterson.

Why is it such a big story? He wants people to call in to tell him why it is such a big story.

Dave from Modesto is on now. He says; "The main reason this has got such coverage is because she disappeared on Christmas Eve day, pregnant and it just resonates in all of us etc". When Savage pressed him he had to say it is because the cable networks have kept it out there.

Savage says the reason is because we have all these cable news stations and they just have to fill the cable news all day long with these kind of filler stories.

Even if he accidentally killed her during an argument, if he had gotten medical help immediately, his son probably could have lived.

That is a sad and sobering thought. It would take a pretty hard and evil heart to slaughter a wife who is bearing your son. Knowing that the baby was a boy and could be saved (if he did kill Laci after a fight) and still spending all the time cleaning up and constructing an alibi is as low as one can go. Totally evil. I do think there was a case in Arkansas once where someone who killed a pregnant woman was prosecuted for killing two. Can't remember any of the specifics.

I am trying to recall their last press conference.We have not seen them since they were informed of SP's affair and the life insurance. To me they really did not seem to have hope and before they did have at least have some hope.

IMHO Laci's mother and brother's statements definitely were different. All I can say again IMHO that they are desperately pleading for closure. Her brother spoke of their children not growing up together in life as cousins..........It was absolutely heartbreaking. I don't know them and it was more than one could bear!

Hi Runningbear..I'll see if i can find out. I remember hearing right after Laci's family news conference that the police conference would be 2 hrs later. So I think you're right..that would be 6:30 CST
