Prayer Needed For Runaway Teen

A teenage girl from my Church ran away from home yesterday afternoon. It was a planned thing - she left school in the middle of the day.
The police are now involved, have interviewed her friends, all of whom say they don't know where she is. Her father lives in another state, and has not heard from her either.
According to her mother, she is computer-challenged, so the chances of having met someone on the internet are remote. It's extremely cold her in MI, and she didn't take many clothes.
Please pray for her safe return. I'm not posting her name, as it is rather unique. Thanks so much.

Thanks for the bump. No word from her yet. I'm praying that the Lord will prick the consciences of any who know where she is.
Please pray for her mom and stepdad - they are wonderful people.

Answering the call to prayer ... Heavenly Father, lead this dear one back to home and safety, with the assurance that there is love and understanding waiting ... comfort and encourage those who long for her return, and guide those who search that they might be successful ... for Your honor and glory, Amen ...

Thank you all for your prayers. I just had a phone call that she has made contact with a friend, and that she is ok. No further details, but again, praise the Lord!

Heavenly Father,
We return to give You thanks that this child of Yours is safe. We pray now that You would bring her home where she belongs and that she would be received with loving arms. Please convict her heart about all that You want her to learn from this experience. Give her parents wisdom and unconditional love as they attempt to understand all that You want them to know. We pray that You would use this situation for her good and Your glory. Thank You, Father, that You will take care of everything that concerns each of them. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Wow!!!!! Praise the Lord, indeed.
She still needs prayers though, so I'll continue to bump the thread.

I just read your original request and the update. I am glad to hear she is safe. I am praying though for a full resolution to this issue, for bonding between her and her parents and for healing to come about so she will no longer feel the need to flee. It's a tall order in today's complicated issues, but God is good at complicated and tall both so HE IS ABLE!
