What really tapped me was my 15 January quarterly tax payments.
I became a monthly donor several months back. However, when I found myself unemployed (a state that I am still trying to pull myself out of), I stopped temporarily. This is my way of donating for the time being, and I will also resume monthly donations as soon as I can.
Not bad! $1.10/mussel so far... If I reach my goal of 100 mussels, that means $110.00 to FR!
