I mentioned this on another thread. I'd be willing to bet money that Ritters 180 on Hussein is due to him being caught\photographed with a minor while he was there. Its the only logical reason for his radical change of heart...

Logic, IMO, dictates that he would have simply left center stage, not done a 180, were that premise accurate.
