And pulling threads is why I support this board. The moderators do a good job of letting discourse take place while controlling fools that don't have a clue. The moderator has already suggested that legitimate threads can be restored.

I have seldom (if ever) seen a thread or a post pulled because of someone's opinion. Suggesting illegal actions, threatening officials, posting falsehoods, deliberately trying to besmirch FR, and the like should get you banned.

DUers, trolls and disrupters deserve to get booted off. Allowing people who hate FR to monopolize and flame the forum is stupid and has sent many a poster away in frustration. Though I do miss a good opus from the more creative ones.

An email to the moderators has allowed many a poster back on - ask A+Bert how many times he has been banned! (Is he back yet, or forever gone?)

And I would agree that would be a valid reason to remove a post and\or comment and maybe receive a warning. "I have seldom (if ever) seen a thread or a post pulled because of someone's opinion"

I have to disagree with you on that point. I have seen peoples post pulled for that reason and on more than one occasion and some of the subsequently banned.
