For that matter, there's a lot I don't understand here as far as how the forums are laid out and what crosses over to what. The only thing I do when I come here is click on "Latest Posts". Maybe I'm missing out on other parts of the site. I don't know. And I've yet to find a Help page that explains it all.
needed to be repeated!! :)

On the Thread page, on the right hand side, you will see a list ot topics something like this:
My Forums Campaign 2002
General Interest
News/Activism
Religion
RLC Liberty Caucus
The Smokey Backroom
VetsCoR
Each one is it's seperate forum, including a news forum (the main forum). They all work individually (search, etc). So if your interested in Religion, you might want to see what articles are posted there. Just click on that link and you will see all the 'Religion' type articles.
John subgrouped all the threads for speed and organization. The Smokeybackroom is for heated topics and threads that might be a little too intense for the regular forum.

I for one appreciate the hard work done by the staff here. They diligently keep out crap from spammers and trouble-makers, etc.
"News/Activism" is a category. I don't know the criteria, but if it's a news item that's a week old at least, it should be reclassified. That way "Latest Posts" stays fresh.
The search engine here is good and it's easy to browse around for other posts you might be interested. You, is_is, are acting like someone who thinks microwave popcorn doesn't cook fast enough.
And if you don't like the way the site works, then don't click on it. If you have suggestions, send an e-mail to the staff. Whining on a thread is unbecoming and childish.
If you, or ANYONE, have questions as to what "moving to chat" meant, or what a ZOT is, then ask. If you have been here for "ages" as you have claimed and have just now gotten around to asking what these things mean, then that's your fault for not speaking up or asking before now.
Another reason "no good deed goes unpunished" is such a trusim.
