Sorry if it looked like I was picking your comment to reply. It's just that I saw several people talking about this earlier and tending to make a case for a set up.
I saw your post early on this thread and jumped on it because it tended to slant toward that possibility as well.
For those who would say, or even begin to consider a set up, I merely ask if they could ever see themselves in a similar situation with similar outcome.
My personal opinion as to why he's still walking the street is that he probably has a darned good lawyer!

No problem. I have yet to talk to anyone on internet that could entice me to go meet them.
The fact that Scott showed up two times to meet minors, which is what I have read indicates he has a problem. So why is he walking free? The fact that he was so well known in 2001 which I read the year these things happened flies in the face of logic that it could be kept quite, no matter how good his lawyer is. Did he make film before or after these events? Good lawyers cost money. Who is the lawyer? Scott wasn't suppose to make money off the film, so he says.
So many questions and lack of complete information to answer questions.
