I had to excerpt the article, being NBC related. But the writer relates the idea that in the court's eyes too "it didn't happen."

I don't think the legal nuances will bail him out in public, though.

Well ... the court would be wrong. An arrest is an arrest, and it doesn't magically fall off your record. Unless ... of course ... you're a democrat and you have connections in the judicial system who will "seal" your court records for you.

No, NBC articles are fine to post. It's Newsweek articles that need to be excerpted, and they happen to use MSNBC as their home site. But as long as it's not from the Newsweek section or a reprint of a Washington Post article, you can post anything from MSNBC in full.
