ALBANY, N.Y., Jan. 22 - Until now, former U.N. weapon's inspector Scott Ritter has declined to speak about allegations he was arrested in an Internet sex sting 19 months ago. However, NewsChannel 13 reached Ritter by phone Wednesday and for the first time he discussed the arrest and the sealed court documents.
...snip...
"The case was dismissed. Therefore it never happened," Ritter said Wednesday.
"I stood in a court of law, before a judge and an assistant district attorney, and they dismissed it," he added.
But the court of public opinion has a different view. The story of Ritter's arrest and the subsequent dismissal of his case first broke over the weekend and dominated headlines in the days that followed.
"I am deeply saddened [by all of the media attention]. Not by anything I've done though."
Ritter refused to speak to NewsChannel 13 on camera. When offered the chance to tell his side of the story on television, he replied, "I'm saying it now."

"The case was dismissed. Therefore it never happened," Ritter said Wednesday.
By this logic, Nicole and Ron are still alive.

What planet did this guy come from! Dismissal doesn't mean the EVENT which triggered his arrest never happened. What an idiot!

And, of course, RITTER told her that HE suspects the judge! Yeah, sure. How about the arresting officers or court staff who may have objected about the way the case was handled?
Or how about anyone in the public who saw the WNYT broadcast of Ritter's mug shot, using the name "William Ritter." Not one person would remember that?

Perhaps this explains the 180 he did on Iraq. They may have compromised him with some under-age Iraqi girls during one of his visits, showed him the 8x10 glossies, and told him he now works for Saddam. That's where my money is.

I think it was the fired assistant DA who leaked the information. SHe's the one that made "the deal" and ends up paying the piper. Scott goes free no punishment.

Something tells me the fellows at the Delmar F.D. won't be so impressed with Ritter's non-response.

Well ... the court would be wrong. An arrest is an arrest, and it doesn't magically fall off your record. Unless ... of course ... you're a democrat and you have connections in the judicial system who will "seal" your court records for you.

She flat out said that the judge was hired by Bush to do to Florida for the recount and "maybe" that's why this was leaked now, because Ritter is so critical of the president.Could well be. Could also be that the original sting was directed at Ritter by the feds because of his pro-Soddomite activities, as the gay buchananista Raimondo claims. I don't find these suggestions any less convincing than the suggestion that Ritter was given a pass by a Hillary operative to blackmail him into crusading against Bush. In fact, they are more plausible. But it's all beside the point. We already know Ritter is a turncoat and a traitor. The only interesting question is, how was he turned? That's a mystery no longer.

My guess is that Ritter found out that Iraq had the goods on him about this perversion, and that explains his switch on the Iraqi WMD!! In the form of a video would be my quess and most likely worse then what these charges are

Kind of like, "The inspections in Iraq were stopped before we finished, so therefore Iraq has no WMD". Exactly.
To: Xenalyte
If they had him why was the case dismissed and/or sealed?
To: Howlin
read the thread back upward to find your comment. I'm astonished if Crier even slightly insinuated a judge would "leak" sealed information, especially for political reasons. Was it a blatant accusation? Sure hope the judge gets her attention real quick.

Sealed is sealed!!
It never happened. Bottom line!
When a reporter for The Daily Gazette asked Ritter about the arrest on Friday, he denied any knowledge of the incident.
"Sorry, you must have the wrong person," said Ritter, whose full name is William Scott Ritter Jr.
last night
Ritter speaks out against Bush administration
Ritter called on President Bush to look for a peaceful resolution with Iraq.
He said almost all of Iraq's weapons were accounted for and destroyed four years ago.

Remember the UN hired that S & M guy as a current inspector (probably everyone has made this observation, but I been gone). What's the deal with perverts and the UN?
