I understand. My heart goes out to you with your kids "hopeleesly liberal:" that must be hard on you!! I love my sister even though she is basically very naive.

Perhaps your kids will come around still. Robert Frost said, "I was never too liberal in my youth, lest I be too conservative in my old age."

It's very hard for me to have liberal children. They are both anti-religion too and you can imagine how much that hurts me. They both came for Christmas and we almost made it through without an argument. But they stayed one day too long. By the time they left, I was glad to see them go, and that is so sad.
