The question is, are there real 14 Y.O. girls on the chat line? If all the chatters are in fact cops, your point is well taken -- because then "but for" the cops there would be no victim.

So this is a matter of practical common sense. Cops impersonate street walkers, but do so in areas where there are also real street walkers and hence real crimes being committed.

I am not that gullible. While I may disagree with the tactics used by the cops, your defense is sickening to a decent person. It also raises serious questions about your own morals.

Do you get the picture. There is nothing in the law that says the authorities have to sit back and allow a crime to happen. They are allowed to arrest people who are intending to commit a crime.
