So were the dogs the cause of the veering?
Was it the smoking?
Was it the drink between her legs?

Why is the BBC reporting speed in MPH?
I thought they drove kilometers over there.

Inquiring minds want to know...

The English use the English system of measurement, but not officially.

Most things are metric, like if you buy curtains, the measurements are usually in centimeters, and stuff like that.

However, miles are always miles in England. Go to the BBC website and search for "metric martyr." A man went to court for stealing kilometer signs because they were illegal and he won.

As far as this woman goes, it's technically illegal to eat or drink while you're driving in England, so they could have rustled her up for that, although that rarely happens.

I have two English cars and no cup holders!
