Yup, interesting read.

But be mindful, as Louis Blanc (the French Socialist) said, stressing the so-called "Prinicple of Need" - that is, equal compensation irrespective of ability or productivity. [The Utopians, Fabians, ... would be proud of that summary.]

This "principle" is often stated today as "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need."

Also, today, in the United States is practiced that specific branch of the above, called: LIBERALISM. Or, the true and only purpose of government is "To help people."
