I figured the rest but I'll explain this..
and it was hard to understand that you system allows candidates to become president without the majority of the voters.
The system is set so that NewYork, LA, and other high density areas can't dictate policy based on sheer numbers..
We're not a national Democracy, we're a Republic made up of soveriegn states. It would be unfair for agricultural states to have to submit to laws designed to help cosmopolitan states. Another reason a lot of us fear the Fed is that it really shouldn't matter to localities who is president, he's not supposed to have the power to dictate local policy...

Thanks, but because of 2000 elections, we all know now why your president hasn´t had the majority of the people but of the presidential electoral assembly. :-)
