Today's FEEBLE attempt at humor:

THE MOODS OF A WOMAN

An angel of truth and a dream of fiction,
A woman is a bundle of contradiction,
She's afraid of a wasp, will scream at a mouse,
But will tackle a stranger alone in the house.
Sour as vinegar, sweet as a rose,
She'll kiss you one minute, then turn up her nose,
She'll win you in rage, enchant you in silk,
She'll be stronger than brandy, milder than milk,
At times she'll be vengeful, merry and sad,
She'll hate you like poison, and love you like mad.

THE MOODS OF A MAN

Hungry.
Horny.
Sleepy.

Ha Ha! The moods of a man...short and sweet.

We ladies are so complex.

Last Sunday Mrs. Johnson was teaching the children about the prophet
Elijah and the false prophets of Baal. She explained how the false
prophets unsuccessfully called on their god to send fire down from
heaven. Next, she described in detail how Elijah, the prophet of God,
built an altar, put wood upon it, cut a steer in pieces and laid it
upon the altar. She added that before calling out to God, Elijah
commanded the people to fill four barrels of water and pour it over
the altar, four times.

"Now, said Mrs. Johnson, "Can anyone in the class tell me why the Lord
would have Elijah pour water over the steer on the altar?"

A little boy in the back of the room waved his hand, "That's easy,"
he said proudly. "He wanted to make gravy!"
