I was a 27 year old liberal worried what he was going to do to this country.Four years later, I was a devout Reaganite (and conservative)anxiously awaiting his second term.

I was working in New York City at the time of President Reagan's first election and what I remember the most is that even before he was sworn in as President, Iran released the American hostages and I went to the Wall Street parade for them. Then I was astounded and so very happy at his overwhelming vote for a second term. Rush Limbaugh mentioned something today about some actor, Clooney, attacking President Reagan. Well, Clooney it's very sad when you attack a very ill man who was the greatest President in my lifetime. Very sad and pathetic and if they offered to let me see one of your movies for free I'd say "No thanks". God Bless President Reagan and God Bless America! And I beg all good Americans to skip Clooney's movies.

ahh aha

I was 22. Freelance artist/waiting tables in Manhattan.

I was very glad the hostages were free...Carter was such a wuss... but I sure didn't much care for Republicans either.

I was pretty much a punk and had some socialist leanings.
Kinda pissed-off at alot of stuff back then come to think of it lol
