I didn't cry but I suppose a lot of people did cry tears of joy - I just knew the country had made a great turn in voting for The Gipper and I was very satisfied!

I wonder how Reagan would've handled Iraq and North Korea?

You are not going to believe this. i was a liberal law student, depressed out of my mind that Reagan was president, my sisterinlaw still has the letters i wrote to her, outlining my depression and my fears regarding the 'warmongering' president. Goodness, my misspent youth!

I was home getting ready to go the satelite inaugural ball held for those who worked on Reagan's campaign. That meant me because I was a Reaganette... corny, but gave me the opportunity to meet and talk to RR himself. He was delightful.
